Savannah GA Food Run! Finding the Best Restaurants, Cafes and Bakeries

Day 1 – Southern Comfort at Sweet Potatoes Kitchen We kicked off our trip with one of Savannah’s most beloved spots for comfort food: Country Fried Chicken – Crispy, juicy, golden-fried perfection served with house-made gravy. Pecan-Encrusted Chicken – Tender chicken coated in crunchy pecans for that sweet-savory flavor combo. Sweet Potato Side – Rich, creamy, and buttery with that perfect Southern twist. Award-Winning Banana Pudding – YES, it lives up to the hype. Silky, creamy, and layered with love.

Day 2 – Brunch & Pub Grub Brunch at The Funky Brunch Café Savannah’s coolest brunch spot where you can cook pancakes right at your table! DIY Blueberry Pancakes – We grilled them ourselves right on the griddle! Southwestern Scramble – A flavor-packed combo of eggs, veggies, and spice. Hen & Heifer – Chicken breast, sausage, eggs, potatoes—aka everything brunch dreams are made of. Dinner at Churchill’s Pub We wrapped up day 2 with classic pub vibes and hearty eats at this British-inspired gastropub. Pot Roast – Tender, slow-cooked, melt-in-your-mouth goodness. Mac & Cheese with Bacon – Creamy, cheesy, smoky heaven in a bowl.

Day 3 – Sweet Treats & Iconic Savannah Eats Breakfast at Baker’s Pride Bakery A local treasure with the best sweets in Savannah, hands down. Bourbon Pecan Bar – Rich, nutty, and boozy in the best way. Glazed Donuts – Soft, warm, and just perfect. “Poop” Cupcakes – Don’t let the name fool you—these are chocolate lovers’ dreams. S’mores Bar – Gooey marshmallow, melted chocolate, and crunchy graham cracker bliss. Lunch at The Lady & Sons by Paula Deen A Savannah staple that lives up to the name. Fried Chicken – Crispy outside, juicy inside—the way fried chicken should be. Pot Roast – Another Southern classic, cooked to perfection. Sides Galore – We sampled 4 sides to round out our Southern plate (think: mac & cheese, collards, mashed potatoes, and green beans). This Savannah food run was one for the books! From soul food to sweet treats and DIY pancakes, we covered it all.
